Boot Rooms
About This Space
A well-designed boot room is one of the most transformative investments a country or suburban homeowner can make. It is the first room you enter and the last you leave, and it bears the fullest weight of family life — coats, dogs, muddy boots, school bags and sporting equipment.
Strada Group designs boot rooms with the same architectural rigour as our kitchens. Tall painted cupboards with ventilated shoe racks, open coat rails at different heights for adults and children, deep drawers for gloves and scarves, and a solid oak bench with lift-up storage beneath. Every element is designed, every dimension considered, every material chosen for longevity.
Design Ideas
The Country House Boot Room
Deep coat cupboards, a flagstone floor, a dog-washing station and a generous perimeter bench create a fully functioning entrance hall for an active family estate.
The Town House Entrance
Tighter in footprint but no less considered: a mirrored alcove, concealed hanging, integrated drawer storage and a seat with cushion make the most of a narrow passage.
The Mudroom & Utility Passage
Where boot room meets utility, a passage of sage-painted cabinetry handles outdoor kit, laundry and cleaning equipment in a single choreographed run.
